Water Heater Replacement in Dobson Ranch

We were at this Dobson Ranch home to replace a faucet and tub diverter. While working through that job, we noticed the water heater was actively leaking from the tank. The homeowner was right there, saw it with us, and approved the replacement the same morning.
We drained the old 50-gallon electric unit and hauled it out to the driveway. The scale that came off the bottom showed how far gone it was. We installed a new Rheem Performance 50-gallon electric in the laundry room, swapped the cold-side ball valve, and put in new braided supply lines on both connections. Every fitting got checked before we called it done.
Hot water the same day on a job that started as a faucet call. The homeowner didn't have to scramble for an emergency plumber or deal with a flooded laundry room later. New tank, new shutoff, new supply lines.
