Kitchen Drain Cleaning in Troon

A Troon homeowner in the 85255 area of Scottsdale had a double kitchen sink on the island, and both basins had stopped draining. They'd already tried store-bought drain chemicals with no luck. The goal was to clear the line without pulling apart the custom cabinetry or breaking up any tile.

We set up the hydro-jetter under the sink and fed the hose into the kitchen branch line. There's a sharp turn down below the slab, and it gave the jetter a hard time making the bend. Mitch worked through it by alternating between low and high PSI until the pressure punched through and the line started taking water freely. Once it was open, we ran the camera the full length of the line. The pipe was clear, but the camera picked up improper fittings installed underground at some point. Those rough joints are where grease and debris tend to collect. We put the sink drain back together, checked every connection under the cabinet, and ran both basins for over ten minutes straight. No backup.
