Hydro Jetting a Mainline in Dobson Ranch
Cleared a root-choked mainline at a 1970s Dobson Ranch home with full hydro jetting and a follow-up camera inspection.
- Camera-verified clean
- Roots cut to city tap
- On yearly schedule
Repeat backups in a 1970s Dobson Ranch home. Cabling was clearing the line for a few weeks at a time but the problem kept coming back. Roots from the mature ash trees out front had been steadily working their way into the clay sewer main.
We ran a camera first to confirm root intrusion and locate the worst sections, then brought in the jetter and cut the line clean for the full run to the city tap. A second pass with the camera confirmed a clean, fully flowing pipe.
The mainline is back to full bore and the homeowner is on a yearly jetting schedule to stay ahead of the roots. If we see the clay pipe start to fail on a future inspection we will quote a trenchless replacement before it becomes an emergency.
