Tankless Conversion in Eastmark
Replaced a failing 50-gallon tank with a Rinnai tankless system to give an Eastmark family endless hot water.
- Endless hot water
- Garage space recovered
- On descaling schedule
The homeowners in Eastmark were on their third tank water heater in twelve years. Hard water had eaten through the latest one and the laundry room was already showing the early signs of a slow leak. They wanted to stop the cycle and move to something that would actually last in our East Valley water.
We removed the existing 50-gallon tank, ran a properly sized gas line for tankless demand, added an isolation valve service kit for future flushing, and mounted a Rinnai unit on the garage wall. Total time on site was a little over six hours including code-compliant venting and final commissioning.
Endless hot water across two showers and a dishwasher running at the same time, plus about forty square feet of garage space back. The family is on our annual descaling schedule so the unit gets flushed before Mesa's hard water has a chance to scale the heat exchanger.
